Your Kedarkantha adventure begins with your arrival at Dehradun Airport or Railway Station. Our representative will greet you and escort you to your awaiting vehicle for a scenic drive to Sankri, the base camp for the trek. The journey takes you through winding mountain roads, offering glimpses of the changing landscapes as you ascend into the Himalayas. Check into your guesthouse or homestay in Sankri upon arrival.
After breakfast, begin your trek from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful lake surrounded by pine forests. The trek is relatively easy, gradually ascending through the forest. Juda Ka Talab is a picturesque campsite, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Camp overnight near the lake.
Today’s trek takes you to the Kedarkantha Base Camp. The trail gradually ascends through the forest, offering mesmerizing views of snow-covered trees and valleys. The Kedarkantha Base Camp is a large open area, providing a perfect spot for camping. Camp overnight at the base camp.
This is the most challenging yet rewarding day of the trek. After an early start, begin your trek to the Kedarkantha summit. The trail becomes steeper as you approach the summit. The sunrise view from the top is simply breathtaking, offering a 360-degree panorama of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Spend some time at the summit, capturing the stunning scenery. Descend to Hargaon for overnight camping.
After breakfast, begin your descent back to Sankri. The trail is mostly downhill, making it relatively easier. Reach Sankri in the afternoon and check into your guesthouse or homestay.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Sankri. Later, embark on your drive back to Dehradun for your onward journey, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Kedarkantha trek.

Limitations/Weather Conditions: The trek is most popular in winter (December to March) for snow. It is not recommended during monsoon (July-August) due to potential landslides.
