Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kullu and Transfer to Tirthan Valley

Arrive at Bhuntar Airport near Kullu. From there, you’ll be transferred to the Tirthan Valley. The drive itself is scenic, offering glimpses of the valley’s beauty. Settle into your accommodation and spend the evening relaxing by the Tirthan River.

Day 2Explore the Tirthan River and Villages

Spend the day exploring the Tirthan River and the charming villages dotted along its banks. Take a leisurely walk along the river, try your hand at fishing (with necessary permits), or visit the local villages to experience the Himachali culture.

Day 3Hike to the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) entrance

Embark on a hike towards the entrance of the Great Himalayan National Park.  While you may not enter the core zone on this particular itinerary, the hike itself offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests.  Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Day 4Visit the Jalori Pass (Optional)

If weather permits, take a day trip to the Jalori Pass. This high-altitude pass offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and snow-capped peaks. The drive to the pass is an adventure in itself.

Day 5Explore the Serolsar Lake (Optional)

Another optional day trip is a visit to the serene Serolsar Lake, accessible by a trek from Jalori Pass. The lake is known for its crystal-clear water and the temple dedicated to Goddess Budhi Nagin.

Day 6Departure from Tirthan Valley

Enjoy a final morning in the tranquil Tirthan Valley. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred back to Bhuntar Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you memories of a rejuvenating nature retreat.

    • On Season (May-June, September-October): Rs. 4,000 – Rs. 5,000 per person (approx.)
    • Off Season (July-August, November-April): Rs. 3,500 – Rs. 4,500 per person (approx.)
    • Limitations/Weather Conditions:
      • On-season: Pleasant weather, ideal for trekking.
      • Off-season: Monsoon (July-August) can bring heavy rain. Winter (November-April) can bring cold temperatures and potential snowfall, especially in Kheerganga.
