Our representative will greet you and escort you to your awaiting vehicle for a scenic drive to Joshimath. The journey, though long, offers captivating views of the changing landscapes as you ascend into the Himalayas. Check into your hotel or guesthouse in Joshimath upon arrival and rest for the night.
After breakfast, you have two options to reach Auli from Joshimath: by road (jeep) or by the Auli cable car. The cable car journey is a scenic experience in itself, offering panoramic views of the snow-covered mountains. Upon reaching Auli, check into your pre-booked accommodation – a ski resort or guesthouse. The afternoon is free for you to acclimatize to the altitude and explore the surroundings.
Today is dedicated to skiing! After breakfast, head to the ski slopes. If you’re a beginner, you can opt for a basic skiing course from certified instructors available at the ski resort. They will teach you the fundamentals of skiing, including balancing, gliding, and stopping. Once you’re comfortable, you can practice on the beginner slopes. If you’ve mastered the basics, you can try more challenging slopes today. Auli also offers other snow activities like snowboarding, snow trekking, and sledding.
