Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Manali and Drive to Solang Valley

Arrive in Manali, a charming hill station nestled amidst the Himalayas.  After settling in, embark on a short drive to Solang Valley, the starting point of the Beas Kund trek. Solang Valley itself is a scenic spot, known for its adventure activities like paragliding and zorbing.

Day 2Trek from Solang Valley to Bakarthach

Begin your trek from Solang Valley to Bakarthach. The trail gradually ascends through forests of pine and deodar, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.  The trek is moderately challenging and takes you through picturesque landscapes. Bakarthach is a beautiful campsite surrounded by lush green meadows.

Day 3Trek from Bakarthach to Beas Kund and Return

Today’s trek takes you to the sacred Beas Kund. The trail becomes steeper as you approach Beas Kund.  The highlight of the day is reaching Beas Kund, a small glacial lake from which the Beas River originates.  Spend some time soaking in the beauty and spiritual significance of this place.  Afterward, trek back to Bakarthach for overnight stay.

Day 4Trek from Bakarthach to Solang Valley and Departure

Begin your descent from Bakarthach back to Solang Valley. The downhill trek is generally easier and faster. Upon reaching Solang Valley, you can either choose to relax and explore the area further or depart for your onward journey from Manali.
